On October 20, 2013, students of the International and Xinjiang division attended the annual Outward Bound. They first participated in the “Trust Fall,”which promoted team cohesion, as well as respecting different perspectives. Under staff guidance, students also participated in the “Through the Grid”, “Gate-Crashers,” and several other activities. “High Broken Bridge” was a highlight of the activities, which helped students understand that everyone is fragile sometimes, but difficulties can be conquered. While everyone had fun physically outside of the classroom, the biggest gains of the day were increased trust of each other and courage to overcome their fears.
