Edible Village

Seoul’s Edible Village is a unique kindergarten offering a garden-based bilingual (Korean and English) program co-developed by Fairmont International Education and Edible Edu in Seoul, South Korea. The kindergarten combines the global-minded curriculum of Fairmont Private Schools with Edible Edu’s nature-friendly curriculum based on the Edible Schoolyard Project, which turns gardens and kitchens into classrooms. A team of Fairmont teachers and administrators has worked for more than a year to develop a curriculum that blends both English and Korean early childhood education. Both South Korean and American educators are teaching at the opening of the new kindergarten. Edible Village Bilingual Kindergarten represents the first of several kindergarten schools being planned under the partnership of Fairmont International Education and Edible Edu to open in the region of Seoul, South Korea.
